Blogs I'm Stalking

Since this is my first blog ever it's probably a good idea that I look at other blogs frequently to get an idea of what this is all about. While searching the net I found a couple of sites that I loved right away. Since my blog is going to be focused on food and eating I found some nice blogs with similar subjects.
The first food blog that I stumbled upon was Clotilde Dusoulier's Chocolate & Zucchini . It's a great blog written by this really cute French girl. I like it because she writes about great things she's cooking as well as fun experiences she has. The format of the blog is pretty simple but she spices it up with beautiful photos of the meals she creates. This blog also inspires me because she posts new ideas and recipes she has, which resulted in her blog getting made into a book! How cool is that?
The next blog I've been getting a lot of ideas from is Chow, which seems like a super-blog. They have everything from blogs to videos about cooking. They even have a section for cooking gear! I like this site because unlike most cooking blogs they feature both food recipes AND drink recipes! The layout seems pretty complicated...they must have a team of tech-savvy people working for them. I like the bright colors and it is easy to navigate. They also have some really clever writers.
Another blog I'm reading is delicious:days. It's a food blog from a couple that lives in Munich. What I like most about their blog is that they have absolutely beautiful photos of the food they make! I don't know what kind of camera they're using but the pictures look as though they came straight from a food magazine! I also really like their layout. They make it super easy to navigate around the blog and find different recipes they've posted.
Overall I've noticed that each of these blogs make you feel like you've been invited into a really warm kitchen. I like that people are sharing their ideas for food and connecting over recipes. I'm looking forward to learning how to cook so that I can try some of their dishes!
